Why learn AB-410 with Ace Skills

  • AI where it adds value

Agents, document processing and generative answers are added to a working solution, with clear guidance on when not to use them.

  • Data model first

A well-designed Dataverse model keeps apps, flows and agents consistent and secure as the solution grows.

  • Automation that survives errors

Flows include retries, error branches and notifications, so they keep running when a connector or user misbehaves.

  • Ready for the PL-200 successor

If you were preparing for PL-200, the course maps your consulting skills onto the newer AB-410 outline.

Course overview

Business applications are no longer just forms over data. Users now expect apps that suggest next steps, flows that read documents and agents that answer questions or complete routine tasks. The people who build these solutions need solid Power Platform foundations plus the judgement to add AI where it genuinely helps. This four-day course builds both.

Day one designs the data foundation in Microsoft Dataverse — tables, relationships, business rules, security roles and solutions — because every later step depends on it. Day two builds the user experience with model-driven and canvas apps, including forms, views, business process flows and responsive design.

Day three focuses on automation: cloud flows, approvals, error handling, desktop flows and AI Builder for document processing. Day four is dedicated to Copilot Studio agents — topics, knowledge sources, generative answers, actions that call flows and connectors, and publishing to Microsoft Teams — followed by application lifecycle management, governance and exam preparation.

All labs build on one service-request scenario, so you finish with a working solution that includes an app, automations and an agent, packaged for deployment.

This course is aligned to the AB-410 exam, reported as the successor to PL-200, which retired on 31 August 2026. Because the exam is new, check its current outline on Microsoft Learn before booking; we update the course as details are confirmed.
