Course overview

Financial accounting sits at the centre of every SAP S/4HANA implementation, and consultants and key users who can both configure and operate it are in steady demand across Indian GCCs, consulting firms and corporates. This six-day course combines configuration in the implementation guide with day-to-day postings, so you understand both why a setting exists and what it does to a document.

Days one and two build the foundations: the enterprise structure, company codes, fiscal year and posting period variants, document types and number ranges, and the chart of accounts. You will create general ledger accounts, explore the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), ledgers and currencies, and configure document splitting for segment and profit centre reporting.

Days three and four cover the subledgers. You will set up business partners for suppliers and customers, post invoices and payments, configure the automatic payment program, dunning and tolerance groups, and handle down payments, special GL transactions and partial payments. Bank accounting covers house banks, bank account management and electronic bank statements.

Day five is dedicated to new asset accounting: chart of depreciation, asset classes, acquisitions, transfers, retirements and the depreciation run. Day six brings everything together in period-end closing — accruals, foreign currency valuation, GR/IR clearing, balance carry-forward and financial statement versions — followed by exam readiness.

This course is aligned to the SAP Certified Associate exam in SAP S/4HANA financial accounting (base code C_TS4FI). Ace Skills is not an SAP partner and does not use official SAP courseware. SAP exam codes carry a release suffix that changes regularly, so please confirm the current code and requirements on SAP Learning before booking.
