Course overview

The PMP is the most widely recognised project management certification in India and the Gulf, and it changed in July 2026 when PMI introduced a new exam based on the 2026 Exam Content Outline. The exam now weights People at 33%, Process at 41% and Business Environment at 26%, and it continues to mix predictive, agile and hybrid approaches throughout. This four-day course is built around that outline.

To apply for the PMP you need 35 contact hours of project management education alongside your project experience. This course provides those 35 hours, and on completion you receive a certificate of attendance you can reference in your application.

Day one establishes the foundations: the project environment, value delivery, development approaches and tailoring, and how to choose between predictive, agile and hybrid ways of working. Day two focuses on people: building and leading teams, stakeholder engagement, communication, conflict, coaching and servant leadership. Day three covers process: scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, procurement, risk and change, comparing how each is handled in different approaches. Day four looks at the business environment, including strategy, benefits, governance, compliance and organisational change, and finishes with exam strategy and a timed mock exam.

The PMP exam is situational: most questions describe a project problem and ask what a project manager should do. Every module therefore ends with scenario questions and a discussion of why one answer is better than the alternatives. You will also work through short case exercises, such as tailoring an approach, building a risk response and handling a stakeholder conflict.

This course is aligned to the PMP exam as published by PMI. Always confirm eligibility rules, the current outline and exam fees on the PMI website before applying.
