Why learn N10-009 with Ace Skills

  • Vendor-neutral foundation

Concepts apply across Cisco, Juniper, cloud and other platforms, making later certifications easier.

  • Real configuration practice

Configure VLANs, routing and wireless security in simulated networks rather than only reading about them.

  • Troubleshooting skill

Use command-line tools and packet captures to find faults methodically, as you will in a NOC.

  • Exam-ready practice

Subnetting drills, performance-based questions and a mock exam prepare you for exam day.

Course overview

Every application, cloud service and security control depends on a network that works. Network+ is the vendor-neutral standard for the people who build and support those networks, and it is a common requirement for network administrator, NOC and infrastructure support roles. This five-day course prepares you for the N10-009 exam while building skills you can use on the job straight away.

Day one covers networking concepts: the OSI model, ports and protocols, network topologies, cloud networking and IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, with plenty of subnetting practice. Day two moves to implementation, including switching, VLANs, routing, wireless and physical installation. Day three covers network operations: documentation, monitoring, high availability, disaster recovery and network services such as DHCP, DNS and NTP. Day four focuses on network security, from access control and hardening to common attacks and their mitigations. Day five is about troubleshooting cabling, connectivity and performance problems, followed by exam preparation.

Labs run in a simulated network environment. You will configure VLANs and inter-VLAN routing, set up wireless security, read packet captures, build monitoring alerts and fix a series of broken networks using a structured troubleshooting method. These exercises also prepare you for the exam's performance-based questions.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need A+ before Network+?

No. CompTIA recommends A+-level knowledge, but the certification itself is not required.

Will I work on real equipment?

Labs use network simulation software, which lets every learner configure complete networks without hardware.

Is Network+ the same as CCNA?

No. Network+ is vendor-neutral and broader, while CCNA goes deeper into Cisco configuration. Many learners take Network+ first.

Is the exam voucher included?

Only when the batch shows the "Exam voucher included" badge. Otherwise you buy the voucher directly from CompTIA.

Do you offer weekend batches?

Yes. Weekend batches cover the same 40 hours across consecutive weekends.
