Why learn PL-900 with Ace Skills

  • Automate real tasks

You build an approval flow similar to the ones most teams still handle by email, and see how quickly it can be replaced.

  • Four products, one day

An app, a flow, a report and an agent are each built hands-on, so you know what every tool feels like to use.

  • Low-code done safely

Environments, DLP policies and Dataverse security show how organisations govern citizen development.

  • A clear next step

The course helps you choose between analytics, app building or automation paths for your next certification.

Course overview

Microsoft Power Platform lets business teams solve their own problems: replacing spreadsheets with apps, automating approvals, building reports and creating assistants that answer common questions. This one-day course shows what each tool does, where it fits and how the pieces connect, with a short hands-on build for every product.

The morning starts with the business value of Power Platform, its licensing concepts and the role of Microsoft Dataverse as a shared data platform. You then build a canvas app over a simple Dataverse table and see how model-driven apps differ.

After lunch you automate a business process with Power Automate, build a small Power BI report and create a basic agent in Copilot Studio that answers questions from a knowledge source. The day also covers connectors, AI capabilities, environments, data loss prevention policies and the security model, so you understand how organisations keep low-code development safe and well governed.

The final session explains the exam format and works through practice questions with explanations, so you leave knowing which product areas to revise before booking.

This course is aligned to the PL-900 exam. Microsoft updates Power Platform frequently and revises the exam outline periodically, so check the current skills measured on Microsoft Learn before booking.
