Course overview

Every SAP landscape depends on well-designed authorisations, and auditors expect organisations to prove that segregation-of-duties risks are identified, mitigated and reviewed. SAP GRC Access Control is the tool many companies use to do that. This five-day course combines core SAP security with GRC Access Control so you understand both the roles and the governance around them.

Days one and two cover the SAP authorisation concept: users and user types, authorisation objects and fields, single, composite and derived roles in PFCG, SU24 default values, troubleshooting with SU53 and authorisation traces, and Fiori security basics including catalogues, groups and spaces.

Day three introduces GRC Access Control architecture and Access Risk Analysis: rule sets, functions, risks, segregation-of-duties and critical access rules, risk analysis at user and role level, and mitigating controls.

Day four covers Access Request Management, including request types, provisioning and multi-stage, multi-path (MSMP) workflow design. Day five covers Emergency Access Management with firefighter IDs and log reviews, Business Role Management, User Access Review, and an exam readiness session.

This course is aligned to the SAP Certified Associate exam for SAP GRC Access Control (base code C_GRCAC). Ace Skills is not an SAP partner and does not use official SAP courseware. SAP release-suffixes and periodically renews its exams, so confirm the current code on SAP Learning before booking.

Frequently asked questions

Which exam code should I book?

SAP adds a release suffix to the base code C_GRCAC and updates it periodically. Confirm the current code and topic list on SAP Learning before booking.

Is this an official SAP course?

No. It is an independent Ace Skills course aligned to the C_GRCAC exam topics.

Will I get system access for labs?

SAP and GRC systems are licensed, so access depends on the batch. Where system access is not available, labs use guided walkthroughs and trainer demonstrations.

Do I need SAP Basis knowledge?

No, though it helps. The course explains the user and role administration you need before moving into GRC.

Is the course useful for auditors?

Yes. Auditors gain a clear view of how SAP access is granted, how SoD risks are analysed and what evidence GRC produces.
