Course overview

Extended Warehouse Management is SAP’s strategic warehouse solution, and with embedded EWM now part of SAP S/4HANA, companies replacing legacy warehouse management need people who can design and run it. This advanced five-day course is built for logistics professionals and consultants who want that depth.

Day one sets the scene: embedded versus decentralised EWM, the integration with SAP S/4HANA logistics, and the warehouse structure — warehouse numbers, storage types, sections, bins, activity areas and work centres. You will build part of a warehouse yourself.

Days two and three cover goods movement processes. Inbound processing takes you from inbound delivery to putaway, with packing, deconsolidation and putaway strategies. Outbound processing covers outbound deliveries, picking strategies, warehouse order creation rules, packing, staging and loading. Internal processes include replenishment, ad hoc movements and posting changes.

Day four focuses on control and execution: process-oriented storage control, wave management, the radio frequency framework and the warehouse monitor. Day five covers physical inventory procedures, slotting basics, labour and yard overviews, and an exam readiness session.

This course is aligned to the SAP Certified Associate exam for extended warehouse management (base code C_S4EWM). Ace Skills is not an SAP partner and does not use official SAP courseware. SAP release-suffixes its exam codes and updates them regularly, so please confirm the current code on SAP Learning before booking.
