Course overview

Every plant, refinery, utility and facility depends on reliable assets, and SAP S/4HANA Asset Management is how many of them plan and record maintenance work. This four-day course gives maintenance professionals and aspiring consultants a practical grounding in the plant maintenance (PM) component.

Day one covers the organisational structure for maintenance and technical objects: maintenance plants and planning plants, functional locations and structure indicators, equipment, serial numbers and maintenance bills of material. You will build a small technical object hierarchy for a pumping station.

Day two focuses on corrective maintenance: notification types, catalogues and damage codes, and the maintenance order lifecycle — planning operations and materials, release, time confirmation, goods movements, technical completion and settlement to cost centres.

Day three turns to planned work. You will build task lists, then create single-cycle, strategy-based and performance-based maintenance plans, schedule them and review the call objects they generate. Day four rounds off with refurbishment and external services, integration with materials management and controlling, reporting and analytics, and an exam readiness session.

This course is aligned to the SAP Certified Associate exam for SAP S/4HANA Asset Management (base code C_TS413). Ace Skills is not an SAP partner and does not use official SAP courseware. SAP release-suffixes its exam codes and updates them regularly, so please check the current code on SAP Learning before booking.
