Course overview

RHCE proves that you can automate Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration with Ansible — not just write a playbook, but build reliable, reusable automation under time pressure. This five-day course gives you the extra practice time that a performance-based exam demands.

Day one revisits the RHCSA skills that the exam expects you to automate, then sets up the Ansible control node, inventories and configuration. Day two covers playbooks, variables, facts and Ansible Vault. Day three adds task control — loops, conditionals, handlers and error handling — along with Jinja2 templates and file management.

Day four is about structure and reuse: roles, RHEL system roles, Ansible Content Collections, automation content navigator and managing content from multiple sources. You will automate storage, users, services, firewall rules, SELinux settings and scheduled jobs across several managed nodes.

Day five is dedicated to exam readiness: a full-length timed practice exam on a fresh environment, a detailed debrief, and focused rework on the areas that caused the most trouble.

This course is aligned to the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) exam, EX294. Ace Skills is not a Red Hat training partner and does not use official courseware. RHCE requires RHCSA; please confirm current objectives on the Red Hat website before booking.
